The Problem
Some MagicJack models unable to display Caller ID
Some models of the Magicjack are unable to display Caller ID information on your telephone. If you receive calls that do not have Caller ID information, you may have one of the affected MagicJacks.
The Solution
Attach the "Little Plug" to your MagicJack
The MagicJack Caller ID Fix (the "Little Plug") is a custom-made modular RJ-11 adapter that fixes the MagicJack Caller ID problem.
It works by bridging a 100K Ohm resistor on your Magicjack phone line to provide a proper termination.
The "Little Plug" can be connected anywhere on the MagicJack phone line; Just plug it in like you would a telephone cord.
Once installed, Caller ID information will be displayed on your telephone whenever you receive calls.
Note: Some users have reported that the MagicFeatures program may interfere with the "Little Plug." It appears that MagicFeatures
will intercept the Caller ID data and resend its own data. This makes the Caller ID data incompatible with our "Little Plug" device.
We suggest removing the MagicFeatures program if you intend to use the "Little Plug."
